Hi,
I am very happy to share that we raised 42, 220 for St. Jude children Research hospital last Thursday and Friday and I am also happy it's over. It's alot of work.....alot of stress and last week was not a good week emotionally for me. I struggled alot!
Sometimes it seems like the more I want to change things, the more they stay the same. Does that make sense?
My eating hasn't been the greatest. Been eating Dilly bars, and food that goes down easy like well....ice cream! LOL
Usually soup for lunch, i'm really hung up on cheese salsa and chips. ....I could eat that cheese salsa by the jar! Heat it up and ...tah dah....you have soup! LOL
I'm going to get a fill tomorrow.....I can eat too much and I don't like it. I am only going to get 1/2 cc tho. There is no way i'm taking a chance on getting too much fill! That was terrible!
Since it's been so nice, i've been coming home and "trotting" with my dog. I call it trotting because it's not running and it's not walking.....I just kinda trot along!
I can't wait for Spring/Summer! yeah!
oh, my oldest daughter Tanisha called.....long story short, her kitty cat bit her really bad and she has an infection running thru her veins. Doctor said she needs to come in ASAP if it spreads outside a circle she drew on her wrist. She said it hurts really bad......I just hope and pray it doesn't spread!
Off to run, not gonna give in to the dilly bars tonight! :-)
have a great Easter if I don't talk to you!

You can do this Kerri, and I understand how you feel.
I know you can!
I slog - slow jog. I get out with my dogs too, they're very motivational and after a week already in the routine, which keeps me in it too!
I was bit by a cat, my hand swelled BAD, ended up in the ER - nasty mouths cats have. OUCH!
Take care!!
Hi Kerri!!!!
Sounds like you're doing really well!!! I definitely know how you felt when you had an olive stuck a while back except mine was chicken. That is so awful!! Even though my surgery was differnt than yours, it is tough to remember how important it is to chew. Overall, though, things are going well for me. I have lost 40 pounds since Dec. 11 with 25 of it since my surgery on Feb.12. You look really good in your picture you have posted and your daughter sure made a beautiful bride. I want to be thin for when my son gets married next year and hope to make it.
Can't want for the muddy streets in Thompson to dry up so I can walk more with my dog.
Sorry to hear about your daughter. I too have had a cat bite and it is very painful. I had to get a shot due to the sickness you could get from their bites.
Also, I think it is great that you are going to do the 5k marathon. Good for you!! I don't think I am ready to do something like that yet but maybe some day!!!
Take care and will talk to you soon!! Your daughter sounds so cute on the radio!!! :)
Hi guys! thanks for the encouraging words! And Cheryl, that is so awesome about your weight loss! I would love to hear how things are different for you now, after surgery. Like what are your food restrictions, and how much are you able to eat?
I just took a 2 hour nap, that was great! Sure needed that!
Enjoy and talk to you soon!
Kerri

George was on the computer asap when he heard Tanisha was bitten, I'm sorry to hear that, she replied right away to let us know she's doing much better! Yikes!
