No more rice for me...

At least that's what i'm guessing was the problem. Sat down last night like most, we gather around the tv with our plates and eat while watching our favorite shows! Steve made chicken on the new grill and it was tender and yummy AND....I was able to eat some. It went down with no problems. It felt so good to enjoy solid food with no problem.

I went upstairs to clean up after supper...ate a few pieces of cooked brocolli and a few bites of rice. UH OH, big mistake. It didn't get stuck but boy did I spend a night in pain. I spent the night going back and forth to the bathroom trying to get the pain to go away by puking it up. NO luck. Finally, about 1/2 hour prior to my normal wake up time, got up drank a big cup of water thinking it would make me puke, no luck with that but it did take some of the pain away. I finally got about 1/2 hour of sleep.

I stuck to liquids today and called my dr to make an apt to have some of my fill taken out. This is kinda scary. What if i'm able to eat...eat...eat? At this point it's the best thing, I probably should have gone in months ago. But, this is a learning experience, one I hope you will benefit from!

Thanks for reading!

You are doing great with your weight loss. Remember that the bad is a slow healthy way to lose the weight.

I also have the band and know what you mean by the pressure in the chest. Be careful of the puking. I have been doing that all summer and now have acid reflux really bad. Have lost the weight but not the right way to do. Keep up with eating correctly and working out. You look great.

Hello, I haven't been puking alot, hardly any actually.

I hope this adjustment works for me and I hope I don't/can't eat too much! Kinda scary, as you know.

Thank you for the encouragement! As I move into my 2nd year I now there will be many challenges.
Have a great week!
