Friday morning on my way to work I reached down to turn on the heat, looked away for a second and he slammed into my car. I was extremely startled, obviously, turned my car around, went home without seeing any thing I hit......I called the sheriff, woke up the family and had Steve take me to work and see what I hit. Wholly cow, I hit an 8 point buck! My son in law was very excited and definitely wanted the rack. The meat ended up being bad, but he was very excited about the rack!I am ok, my neck hurts a little but I am ok. I only have liability insurance so not having much money....not sure what we will do.
That leaves me to the wonderful people who are so willing to help out. Quality Auto Body (Brad and Darcy Huebner) sent a truck out to pick up my car...btw, Brad was out hunting ha ha, so Darcy took care of me by coming to get my car. Thank you!
Jo and Jim Otto at Top Quality Motors in East Grand Forks didn't hesitate to loan me a car until I get things figured out. You can't imagine the stress that left my mind! Thank you Jim and Jo!
